Kuwait

Jason and I went to the Hilton to smoke hookah. It is one of the few things you can do since there is no alcohol in Kuwait. Jason explained he has learned to enjoy a couple different somking activities to help take the edge off in the evenings since there isn't any budlight. One of these being hooka and the other smoking cuban cigars. Jason says the cuban cigars are an expensive habit he is sure he won't keep up with as soon as he gets back to his favorite beer.

Jason smoked grape with a hint of mint.

I smoked apple with a hint of mint. I can tell you I wasn't into it for very long. It kinda gave me a headache.
This is a picture of a water fall at the mall.

Jason wanted people to see these ladies in their burka . They are also at the grocery store.

This is the grocery store that Jason shops at once a week. It is a fairly big store and has most everything you might need. It is very expensive. We paid about $15 for a box of 20 garbage bags. It is actually cheaper for us to send Jason groceries than it is for him to buy them in Kuwait.

This is a little grocery store. We stopped in for some laundry soap. It is on a dirt road. These are the types of things that remind me of Mexico.

This is where Jason gets his hair cut. It is located inside a little shopping center with about 15 different shops. There is an electronics shop that we went into that sells adaptors. Jason was friends with the guy who owns/runs the store. It just amazes me how many local people know Jason.
